Welcome to the Danville Chess Club Site
The Chess Club of the Danville, Virginia area meets each Friday. Most Fridays we meet at 109 Barter Street, between Enterprise Rent - a - Car and Two Witches in Danville. However, on the last Friday each month we still meet at the Starbucks on the Mall Pad. When at Starbucks meetings run from 6:00 PM to close (9:30 or 10:00 depending on season) and at Barter Street meetings run from 6:00 PM until we decide to leave for the night, usually around 11:00. While the start time is 6:00 the group chat will notify of delays and most players arrive between 7:00 and 8:00. There is no membership fee, just come play, learn, study, and watch.
